The friendships and hard work made me proud to serve, and I would do it all again in a heartbeat.  Veteran’s Day is a day to think about my good friends, the time we served, the adventures and challenges we had and how, at the end of the day, we were one team.

Our group gets together every two years and have been doing that for the last 20 years.  I think it is a shame more veterans don’t get together with the veterans they know.  Our reunions are something we look forward to — from the day we leave until we all get together again.

I’ve been fortunate at Cushman & Wakefield to know Tom Dowd – he’s one of the most supportive veterans I have ever met. He and Frank Stanley, work hard to bring other veterans into the company’s leadership.  Locally in Las Vegas, I also know Curtis Sanders, a fellow veteran who has always has a smile on his face and a kind word to say. As vets, working at Cushman & Wakefield, we’re working hard on team building and, hopefully, providing direction that is future-driven.
