South Florida Participates in Miami Bridge’s Arctic Nights Event

In early March, Cushman & Wakefield brokers joined more than 400 local South Florida business leaders for Miami Bridge’s annual gala. The theme for the 2017 gala was “Arctic Nights,” as a nod to the incredible staff at Miami Bridge who have taken youth from the “darkness of abuse, violence, neglect and human trafficking” to the “light of love, respect, and dignity.” Cushman & Wakefield was a proud sponsor of the event.

The evening featured dancing, arctic-themed sweets, passed appetizers, a silent auction, a life-sized snow globe selfie station, and a “Frost Yourself” station featuring body glitter and rhinestones. The gala was hosted by CBS’s Lauren Pastrana who served as emcee and was held at The Sacred Space in trendy Wynwood.

Director Darren Campbell is a member of the Board of Directors for Miami Bridge.

“It has been an honor and pleasure working with the staff and members of Miami Bridge,” said Darren. “There is a special place in my heart for children. It is their birthright to be loved, protected, and given every opportunity to excel in their own unique way.”

Miami Bridge is Miami-Dade County’s only 24-hour emergency shelter for abused, neglected and abandoned youth ages 10-17. Each year, the organization shelters more than 500 children and teens, and provides counseling to 500+ families.

The Cushman & Wakefield Florida team is committed to giving back to those in need in our communities and around the world. In honor of Cushman & Wakefield’s Centennial, Cushman & Wakefield in Florida will be highlighting  employees/initiatives giving back throughout the state. Our goal is to spotlight 100 examples of giving back in 2017.
