The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) has recognized Cushman & Wakefield’s Florida Asset Services Team for outstanding work and management excellence at 6100-6303 Blue Lagoon Drive, a marquee asset in Miami. We are gratified of the recognition of a team that reflects our global standards of service delivery to Investor Services’ client properties.

The Cushman & Wakefield-managed property was honored at The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY®) Awards for 2018, considered the industry’s highest recognition in commercial real estate management and operations. Properties are judged on all facets of operations, from community involvement to tenant relations, site management, and environmental and green policies and procedures.

6303 Blue Lagoon Drive, Miami, FloridaLocated within the distinguished Waterford at Blue Lagoon office park, 6100-6303 Waterford are two award-winning, Class A office buildings that offer amenities including a café, fitness center, complimentary yoga sessions, interior and exterior seating, easy highway access, and free parking.

Both assets have earned the LEED Silver designation and have won previous TOBY Awards at local and regional levels.

But it was not the property alone that earned this outstanding achievement. The TOBY was awarded as a result of the property management team’s passion, collaborative spirit and dedicated work ethic.

“It’s not just the advanced technology or the high-end amenities that make this property special,” said Marlene Diaz, RPA, Vice President with Cushman & Wakefield’s Asset Services Team. “It’s the team we have in place and the real, human contact we have with our tenants on a daily basis that makes all the difference.”

“Our property managers take pride in these buildings. When we walk the grounds, we’re taking note of our surroundings and making sure everything is as it should be for our tenants. Superior service and attentiveness are second-nature here, and our tenants recognize that,” Marlene added.

“Everyone on this management team is incredibly passionate about their work” said Danny Wong, Property Manager for 6100-6303 Waterford. “Marlene has developed an amazing culture at Cushman & Wakefield-managed properties throughout the South Florida market, and we are so proud to be recognized for our work here at Waterford.”

In addition to Danny, the management team at 6100-6300 Waterford consists of: Yaclyn Hernandez, Assistant Property Manager; Maria Mayer, Property Analyst; Kathleen Ojeda, Property Administrator; Segundo Henriquez, Operating Engineer; Carlos Padilla, Operating Engineer; and Javier Castro, Operating Engineer.

The property is owned by MetLife Core Property Fund, and Cushman & Wakefield also handles the leasing for the buildings.
