Over 300 Attend Posh ELEVATE Event in San Francisco

elevate logo

February 25th, was a very special and star – studded occasion for a group of accomplished Bay Area professionals awaiting the results of what is to become one of the more sought after distinctions within the local San Francisco commercial real estate niche. This is likely the closest thing our industry has to the Oscars, which took place last night in Hollywood.

The Registry held  its first annual ELEVATE event in conjunction with CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) San Francisco CREW Silicon Valley and East Bay CREW. Cushman & Wakefield San Francisco is among the sponsors of ELEVATE and has also been very involved with supporting and sponsoring CREW initiatives.

ELEVATE took place inside the glamorous and cavernous Julia Morgan Ballroom, located inside the Merchants Exchange Building, 465 California Street 15th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94104. The Julia Morgan Ballroom is San Francisco’s most exclusive special event venue, an architectural masterpiece that combines a timeless Beaux-Arts interior with superior modern amenities. The ballroom’s historic significance, breathtaking details, professional production staff and strategic location make it an unparalleled event venue.

The keynote of the evening was presented by Madeline Di Nonno, CEO of the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media (seejane.org).

In addition to the honors and the keynote, ELEVATE  also featured a panel of real estate experts speaking on timely topics that related directly to the Bay Area real estate market.

Cushman & Wakefield San Francisco had four nominees at this year’s exclusive awards gala. Each one of these professionals has shown outstanding leadership and professionalism throughout their careers and we are very proud to have them representing our company. By the number of comments and social shares of this story, it’s easy to see how these exceptional ladies made it this far in the competition.

According to top producing broker and Executive Director Margaret Duskin, who among other things, was the first licensed female office leasing broker in San Francisco history: “We had some very talented and accomplished competitors this year and without question, this was an elegant and memorable evening dedicated to acknowledging that. Naturally, we are aware that not everyone could be a winner. However, simply being nominated and making the final cut is a positive thing. I  congratulate all the competitors. We’re all winners just by making it this far.”
