On March 1st, 2017, Cushman & Wakefield celebrated the launch of the San Francisco chapter of The Women’s Integrated Network (WIN SF).
WIN SF was created to accelerate the advancement of women working at Cushman & Wakefield. By sharing information, best practices, education, and experience, the group helps to develop important leadership skills and career advancing opportunities.
One of the goals for WIN SF is to educate seasoned professionals (both male & female) from a diverse range of business niches to become ambassadors of the firm’s commitment to investing in the success of women in the commercial real estate industry.
Approximately 40 women and men from San Francisco, Oakland and Marin gathered at Cushman & Wakefield’s Northern California HQ to mix, mingle and connect. Along with an introduction to WIN SF from Chapter Chair Rhonda Diaz-Caldewey, the event was highlighted by a presentation from Kim Morrow of Forté Consulting on “Influence Beyond Authority”.
“According to Rhonda Diaz-Caldewey, The WIN SF mission, put simply, is to increase the number of advancement opportunities for women within their respective organizations and the commercial real estate industry at large. “
The event area was decorated with quote walls—filled with inspirational quotes gathered by chapter committee chairs. It also featured a suggestions and idea board where attendees were encouraged to share their hopes and ideas for WIN SF. An assortment of appetizers and beverages from Bi Rite were served.
Upcoming events will be announced via email. To be added to the San Francisco chapter’s distribution list for future communication and events, be sure to register on the WIN website and include your SF Bay Area office address.
