Cushman & Wakefield Helps Raise over $10,000 (and Still Counting) in Clothing & Monetary Donations for ‘Dress for Success’ San Francisco

Cushman & Wakefield recently partnered with Dress for Success, a global nonprofit organization that provides professional attire for low-income women, to help support their job-search and interview process. Worldwide, led by 12,000 volunteers, Dress for Success has touched the lives of more than 1 million women since the organization was established. Locally, led by 300 volunteers, Dress for Success San Francisco has served over 7,500 women in San Francisco since 2006.

Following weeks of fundraising and outreach, Cushman & Wakefield’s local Dress for Success effort in San Francisco, which has consisted of generous contributions from both clients and company members, has collected a total of well over $10,000 in clothing and monetary donations to date, and still counting. The firm’s local campaign was guided by Rhonda Diaz Caldewey, who serves as Chair for the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of Cushman & Wakefield’s Women’s Integrated Network (“WIN”), and Margaret Duskin, a leading member of WIN as well as the firm’s Legal Sector Advisory Group (“LSAG”). Additionally, local WIN member, Austen Peterson, was also highly instrumental in helping spearhead the effort.

The Dress for Success community effort was orchestrated in conjunction with Cushman & Wakefield’s special Women in Law event held at the Salesforce Tower in San Francisco on June 10. Hosted by Cushman & Wakefield’s LSAG and WIN, the privately attended event was an opportunity to bring together a panel of highly successful law firm and in-house counsel leaders, both attorneys and executives, to share their life journeys, obstacles, and solutions that got them to where they are today.
