Cushman & Wakefield a Multi-Winner at Bay Area ELEVATE Awards presented by The Registry/CREW

Cushman & Wakefield was a proud winner and honoree of multiple accolades at this year’s 4th Annual ELEVATE awards gala, presented by The Registry and CREW. Held at the Jazz Center in San Francisco on May 8, the special awards event is an iconic celebration of women in the commercial real estate industry and celebrates Diversity & Women’s Leadership in commercial real estate. Cushman & Wakefield was the winner in two categories and a finalist in another.

The event honored individuals and employers making a positive impact in today’s real estate industry, including those having implemented programs promoting greater diversity in the workplace, and also shined a special light on exemplary women, men, mentors and stand-out CREW members who are making a positive impact in today’s real estate industry.

Samantha Low, LEED AP, Director in the firm’s San Francisco office was the recipient of the San Francisco CREW Chapter MVP award, and Sethena Leiker, Director in San Jose was the recipient of the Silicon Valley CREW Chapter MVP award. These coveted MVP awards were given to one person from each Bay Area CREW Chapter who demonstrates passion, commitment and involvement in her/his chapter. The recipient must be exemplary in their commitment to their local CREW chapter, network and/or foundation. They must be dedicated to the fulfillment of the CREW mission, demonstrating committee involvement and member/sponsor recruitment. They must also be a person of honor and integrity, a leader among leaders in the commercial real estate industry and within CREW.

Additionally, Rhonda Diaz Caldewey, Managing Director in San Francisco was a Finalist for the prestigious Inspirator Award. This award acknowledged the exceptional efforts of a woman in the real estate industry who supports, inspires, coaches and mentors people in their profession. Nominee characteristics include serving as an inspiration to the real estate community by example and accomplishments, plays a direct role in the development of their colleagues, serves their industry/community, serves as a resource and mentor, helps individuals reach their goals, and is generous in sharing their time and knowledge.
