8 Wins/O Losses

Cushman & Wakefield’s Sacramento office recently won the local broker softball league’s championship game defeating Colliers by one run with the score of 5 to 4. The team, which was comprised of brokers, clients and staff, enjoyed an undefeated season posting an impressive 8 wins, 0 losses record.

The championship game proved to be a classic nail biter  – all the way down to the final innings. As the home team, Cushman & Wakefield had the last at-bat opportunity in the bottom of the 7th inning with a score of 4-4 and the middle half of the team line-up to bat.

Three singles to load the bases and one out later, Cushman & Wakefield’s Vicki Carrillo hits a measured line drive that bounces off the Colliers’ pitchers glove to bring in the game winning run and propel Cushman & Wakefield Sacramento to a thrilling victory.

Sacramento Children’s Home
This season, the Sacramento broker softball league raised $12,000 for the Sacramento Children’s Home. Sacramento’s Children’s home mission is to open doors to the future by maximizing the potential of children and families.

Through a comprehensive spectrum of prevention, early intervention and mental health treatment programs, the non profit is able to strengthen families and break the generational cycle of child abuse and neglect.
