New Office is Open for Business
The long-awaited new location of Cushman & Wakefield’s Sacramento office is now open. Earlier this month, the entire Sacramento team moved into a spacious and handsomely appointed 12,800 square foot office on the 18th floor at 400 Capitol Mall. Previously, Cushman & Wakefield occupied two separate offices in Sacramento, both on Capitol Mall but in separate buildings.
This move consolidates all commercial real estate services, brokers and support staff into one central location.
According to Managing Principal Ron Thomas: “This officially begins a new chapter for our global commercial real estate firm in Sacramento. We now have a new, state of the art office with a fantastic front row seat overlooking the urban revival of Downtown Sacramento in Sacramento’s premier high-rise office tower. It’s not only exhilarating but rewarding to see the totality of our firm now operating in one location and leveraging the synergies of our platform for the benefit of our clients.”
The new Class A office build out began construction in June 2016 and was completed in mid-October. Cushman & Wakefield shares the 18th floor with neighboring tenant Burton Law Firm. Other notable tenants include Wells Fargo, Orrick, Morgan Stanley, DLA Piper, PWC and Weintraub.
Along with having a stunning view of the Sacramento skyline, nearby Golden 1 Center (Home of the NBA Kings) and The Railyards in the distance, the new office has multiple conference rooms, high-speed wi-fi throughout, two kitchen areas and modern sit-to-stand ergonomic workstations for the approximately 55 person office.
Tenants of 400 Capitol Mall also have access to the sixth-floor health club and heated outdoor lap pool, five-star dining at Il Fornaio Italian Restaurant at the ground floor, and a car wash service on the fifth level of the parking garage. Surrounding the office building are a plethora of additional options for dining, entertainment, and services, including the 2.1 Million Square Foot Downtown Commons (DOCO) development surrounding the new Golden 1 Center.
