Sacramento CRE Champions Cup
Year End 2016, Cushman and Wakefield Sacramento hosted the 1st Annual Sacramento CRE Champions Cup, a competitive soccer tournament among real estate organizations in the Sacramento region. Coordinated by a group of Cushman & Wakefield commercial real estate brokers and avid soccer enthusiasts, the tournament took place at Bonney Field, the home of Sacramento Republic FC, a professional soccer team that plays in the United Soccer League.
The competition was held as a tribute and celebrated Cushman and Wakefield Sacramento’s leadership and hard work in raising over $7,500 from the local real estate community in order to send 250 underprivileged children and families to Republic FC’s home playoff match.
Republic FC professional soccer team regularly partners with local charitable organizations such as St. Hope Public Schools, People Reaching Out, Sacramento Children’s Home, CASA, and Big Brothers Big Sisters. In collaboration with these non profits and charities, the team was able to maximize the donations in order to create a very special evening for deserving local children and their families.
