Cushman & Wakefield a Multi-Award Winner at ACRE/BOYA Charity Event that Helped Raise $300,000 for Child Abuse Prevention Center – C&W Raises $15,000 Toward Effort

Cushman & Wakefield Sacramento is proud to congratulate two of our outstanding brokerage professionals selected as winners at this year’s Association of Commercial Real Estate (ACRE) Sacramento Charity Benefit/Broker of the Year Awards (BOYA). Cushman & Wakefield’s Michael Yuras was the recipient of the event’s prestigious Investment Broker of the Year award and Blair Wheatley was honored with the coveted Broker’s Choice award.

Cushman & Wakefield was further represented at the distinguished event by several other leading professionals recognized as nominees in multiple categories: Chris Strain, Ron Thomas and Kevin Partington—Office; Jim Teare—Retail; Ryan Forsyth and Scott Crowle—Investments; and Michael Mathios—Multi-family.

ACRE is a non-profit, professional association formed to promote working relationships and professionalism within the Sacramento commercial real estate community. ACRE’s Charity Benefit/BOYA are presented annually to brokers achieving outstanding brokerage results.

Going beyond recognizing industry high achievers, the Charity Benefit Broker of the Year Awards has helped give many millions to local charities. This year, in addition to Cushman & Wakefield’s industry accolades, more than 70 professionals across our Sacramento office—from staff to brokers to management—also joined together to help raise a substantial $15,000 that will go to the Child Abuse Prevention Center (CAPC), this year’s ACRE event Charity of the Year selection.

In total, the ACRE/BOYA event helped raise a phenomenal total of $300,000 from its participants this year, all of which is being donated to the CAPC, an important community organization that for nearly 40 years has been a state, national and international service, training, advocacy and resource center dedicated to protecting children and building healthy families. For more about the CAPC and or to help donate, please visit http://www.thecapcenter.org/.
