RECon, International Council of Shopping Centers’ (ICSC) annual global real estate convention, was held this year once again in Las Vegas May 20-23 and attracted approximately 33,000 delegates— and more than 340 Cushman & Wakefield retail colleagues— from around the world.
In the span of just a few days, our professionals engaged in over 1,000 client appointments at our conference booth, equaling 468 hours of deal making— WOW!
Brandon Singer, Managing Director of Retail Services based in New York presented at ICSC’s new Innovation Exchange stage on The New Client: Adapting to the Future of Retail. This presentation consisted of exploring the characteristics digitally-native brands making their way to bricks-and-mortar and explained new trends in the retail landscape.
Garrick Brown, Vice President and Head of Retail Research for the Americas and Ben Conwell, Senior Managing Director and newCommerce Lead presented newCommerce 2028: The Retail & Logistics World of Tomorrow which explored the retail technology of today and how it will be implemented and utilized ten years from now. The retail evolution was a prominent theme throughout this year’s conference and this presentation brought out hundreds from the show.
Cushman & Wakefield held its Annual Retail Cocktail Reception at a new venue— Intrigue Nightclub at the Wynn, which yielded almost 900 guests, served a signature, cherry-lime cocktail— The Cushman Crush, and had a DJ spinning music into the evening.
We featured over 140 of our most iconic, global retail flagship agencies via our digital marketing channels.
We also held an interactive demonstration at our conference booth that featured Outernets— an effective data and marketing platform for evolving retailers.
