Every March, talk of brackets around the company water coolers invade the airspace of the office. Over the last few weeks, winners have advanced in the “Big Dance” and the field is whittling down. Now approaching Round 3, the remaining “Elite Eight” are going head-to-head until a single champion is crowned.
At Cushman & Wakefield, March Madness is in full swing as we present the Q1 2016 Metro Phoenix Office and Industrial submarket “Elite Eight”, complete with Q1 2016 Top Performers in occupancy growth, net absorption, current construction totals and rental rate growth.
Fourteen submarkets, from the original 22-submarket bracket, have been eliminated to introduce this year’s office and industrial Elite Eight. The office finalists include Mesa, Scottsdale Central, Sky Harbor, Chandler/Gilbert/202, Scottsdale Airpark, Downtown, Camelback Corridor and Superstition Corridor. For industrial, the finalists include Southwest Phoenix, West Mesa, Glendale, Sky Harbor, Gilbert/Gateway, North Glendale, Deer Valley and Chandler. In the end, there can only be one winning submarket for each category. Click below to check out all of the Cushman & Wakefield Market Madness and to reveal this year’s office and industrial winners.
