The Final Four game of March Madness flooded the Valley with plenty of visitors from Oregon, Washington, North Carolina and South Carolina. All with the hope of seeing their teams win, team fans joined an estimated 100,000 people who traveled to the Phoenix area this weekend for the games. Advancing from the Final Four, Gonzaga beat South Carolina and North Carolina beat Oregon in a nail biting finish. At the close of the NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Tournament, the University of North Carolina was crowned national champions.
