This spring, 32 Cushman & Wakefield brokers from the Tri-State Region were named CoStar’s Power Brokers for 2017. Along with these top broker appreciations, the firm was recognized as a Top Leasing Firm and a Top Sales Firm in each of the Tri-State Region’s submarkets including New York City, Northern New Jersey, Westchester County and Southern Connecticut. The awards are presented to firms and brokers with the highest levels of leasing activity, categorized by service line, and with the highest sales activity in their regions for 2017.
We had the highest number of Cushman & Wakefield recognitions in this category with 13 local Tri-State brokers earning the acknowledgement. Among those honored in this service line were Bruce Mosler, Jonathan Serko and Ethan Silverstein from our Midtown Manhattan office, who were also honored as Top Producers for the firm in 2017.
In New Jersey, Ben Brenner, Charles Parmelli, Jaqueline Madden, Raymond Trevisan, William O’Keefe and Shawn Straka of Morristown, NJ; Kevin Carton from the Iselin, NJ office; and Daniel Johnsen of East Rutherford were included as CoStar’s Power Brokers. Daniel Johnsen was acknowledged by CoStar for his work in industrial leasing as well.
In the Southern Connecticut market, Jay Hruska and John Altieri were recognized for their volume of office leasing transactions in Fairfield County.
For Industrial Leasing, Cushman’s New Jersey offices have the highest representation as the industrial market in New Jersey continues to remain strong, maintaining its status as the third largest industrial market in the country. From the Iselin office, Andrew Siemsen, Charles Fern, Jason Barton, Jason Goldman, and Marcus Petrella were honored for their tireless efforts in industrial brokerage. In addition to this honor, Charles Fern was also named the firm’s Top Industrial Broker in the Americas for 2017.
A broker from the firm’s Stamford office, Michael Dillon, was also recognized as a CoStar Power Broker for his industrial leasing activity in the Fairfield County market last year.
Two brokers from the Tri-State Region were acknowledged for their high volume of retail activity in New York and New Jersey, Brandon Singer from our Midtown Manhattan office and David Townes, who is based in the firm’s East Rutherford office.
A total of 11 brokers made CoStar’s Power Broker list from Cushman & Wakefield’s Capital Markets and Investment Sales teams. Capital Market’s Chairmen, Douglas Harmon and Adam Spies were acknowledged along with members of their team, Kevin Donner, Adam Doneger and Joshua King. Additionally, Robert Knakal, Chairman of New York Investment Sales was named on the list for his volume of sales in New York City last year.
Our Capital Markets team in Northern New Jersey, led by Andrew J. Merin was also included on CoStar’s list. Along with Andrew Merin, Brian Whitmer, David Bernhaut, Gary Gabriel, and Kyle Schmidt were all recognized.
Both the New York and New Jersey capital markets teams were also named in the Top 100 Producers in the Americas for Cushman & Wakefield for their transaction volume in 2017.
