Cushman & Wakefield a Deal of the Year Finalist in Mixed-Use Category
On May 10, 2018, NAIOP New Jersey hosted the 31st Annual Awards Gala in which the organization honored Cushman & Wakefield’s Stan Danzig with the prestigious Industry Service Award. Danzig, who has been a real estate broker at the firm for over 35 years, was honored for his contributions to the commercial and industrial real estate industry in New Jersey.
According to Real Estate NJ, while accepting his honor Danzig shared, “So much has changed for our industry in recent years. Today’s industrial sector, long in the shadow of other product types, is attracting the largest and most savvy tenants, developers and investors.”
He added, “Deal-making and the product itself have become incredibly sophisticated. This demands excellence by industrial brokers, and in New Jersey, we have risen to that occasion.”
Additionally, NAIOP announced Deal of the Year awards in three categories, Mixed-Use, Office and Industrial, which were decided based on the deal’s community and marketplace impact, complexity, innovative strategies and creative problem solving. Robert Rudin’s deal with Valley Health Systems’ in their decision to relocate the main hospital from Ridgewood to Paramus was a finalist in the Mixed-Use category, and Cushman & Wakefield was mentioned in connection with Vision Real Estate Partners’ in their win for Office Deal of the Year for the sale of The Crossings at Jefferson Park.
Congratulations to all Cushman & Wakefield honorees!
