Steve Kohn, Vice Chairman & President of Cushman & Wakefield’s Equity, Debt & Structured Finance (EDSF) service line, was named Chairman of The Urban Land Institute New York (ULI NY) effective July 1, 2018. Previous to this appointment, Steve Kohn was a Trustee and Governor of ULI and the former Chair of the Urban Development and Mixed-Use Council (Red Flight).

I am honored to work with Marty, Brian, and the rest of our leadership team to continue ULI NY’s impressive growth.”
In addition to his role at ULI NY, Steve is also on the Board of Directors of the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate (AFIRE), and previously served on its Executive Committee. He is also a member of the Wharton Real Estate Center Advisory Board and the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA). Outside of commercial real estate, Steve is president of the Board of Directors of The Catalog for Giving, a charitable organization that funds youth programs throughout New York City, and serves on the Board of Trustees for Bucknell University.
A veteran in the industry and at Cushman & Wakefield, Steve joined Sonnenblick Goldman in 1996 as a Principal and Managing Director, and became the company’s president in the first quarter of 2000. Sonnenblick Goldman merged with Cushman & Wakefield in July 2007, eventually becoming, Cushman & Wakefield Equity, Debt & Structured Finance.
