Commercial real estate publication, Real Estate Weekly, acknowledged commercial real estate’s “Leading Ladies of 2018” this spring, and among the women recognized were Cushman & Wakefield’s Carri Lyon, Katie Mahon and Mitzi Flexer. All three women were honored as “Leading Ladies” for their significant contributions to the commercial real estate industry in New York City.
Carri Lyon is the Co-Chair of the national Not-for-Profit Advisory Group for Cushman & Wakefield, where she represents not-for-profit clients in real estate acquisitions and dispositions. As a leading broker, attorney and site selection specialist, Carri assists clients in identifying the perfect properties for their goals and to ensure all their real estate needs are met in each transaction. Over her almost 30 years in the industry, Carri has become known for her persistence, hard work and ability to consistently secure repeat business from her clients. In the last six months alone, Ms. Lyon has led brokerage teams that have won over 160,000 rentable square feet worth of business.
Katie Mahon is the Senior Managing Director of Retail Operations & Strategy for the Americas for Cushman & Wakefield. Katie’s primary focus is partnering with executive and regional leadership to streamline the firm’s processes and efficiencies, supervise retail revenue reporting, recruit and retain top-level talent nationally. Katie works in partnership with other cross functional divisions to strategically optimize cross-discipline connectivity on a national level.
Mitzi Flexer is a Director working in retail brokerage focusing on both tenant and landlord representation in New York City. She is based in the Brooklyn office, but her expertise spans throughout the outer-boroughs. Mitzi has developed a reputation as a professional who knows how to close a deal, and who will ensure her tenants secure sought-after space. Mitzi is a member of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), where she sits on the Brooklyn Retail Committee, the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and the Latino Professionals Association.
Congratulations to Carri, Katie and Mitzi for this honor and all their professional accomplishments!
