Betty Castro, Managing Principal of Downtown Manhattan for Cushman & Wakefield, was elected as a member of CREW New York’s 2019 Board of Directors. She will act as the organization’s Legacy Leaders Chair heading the Legacy Leaders Committee, which provides CREW members who have attained management positions within their firms with the opportunity to leverage their experience, skills and talents for the benefit of CREW New York. Programs organized by the Legacy Leaders Committee provide members the opportunity to conduct leadership, career and professional development through training and mentorship.
CREW New York is the leading organization for professional women in commercial real estate in New York City. The 250 members of CREW New York come from all levels of experience in virtually every discipline in the industry. CREW New York’s Board of Directors work together to set and accomplish the chapter’s strategic goals, and presents a unique opportunity for leadership and networking among other women and men of high achievement working in commercial real estate. In her new role as a board member, Betty will have the opportunity to exercise her leadership skills to influence the direction and benefits of CREW New York and to positively impact the careers of women in the industry.
