Finance & Commerce, a Minneapolis-based business newspaper, selected Senior Assistant Property Manager Ryan Connolly as one of its Rising Young Professionals for 2019. The distinction is awarded to those who have demonstrated leadership in their industries and made positive impacts in their communities.
After interning two summers for the company, Ryan joined Cushman & Wakefield in January 2017 as an Assistant Property Manager. He’s been linked with General Manager Chris Smith since, providing support on his portfolio of mostly suburban office properties. Ryan has impressed Chris so much that, just two years out of college, the pair have worked actively to transition properties into Ryan’s sole care.
“Since his days as an intern Ryan has always shows a high level of understanding of our industry and property management in general,” Chris wrote in a recent evaluation. “He has built a solid rapport with his clients who know they can trust him with their real estate and tenants.”
Outside work, Ryan has made time to volunteer with the Greater Minneapolis BOMA Emerging Leaders Group, Feed My Starting Children, and as part of Cushman & Wakefield’s annual CommUNITY Day volunteer project.
Ryan’s hard work, punctuality and ability to learn new skills were key in his being named the 2019 Cushman & Wakefield Rising Star in the Minneapolis-St. Paul office, and earlier this year he was a finalist for the 2019 Emerging Leader award, given out by BOMA.
