Alexandra Notay

Alexandra is a strategist, problem-solver and skilled people manager with a global network of board-level relationships and strong 12-year record of successful delivery.

In September 2016 Alex joined Places for People having previously operated as an independent advisor to public and private sector organisations providing strategic advice and project leadership.  She is an internationally recognised conference speaker, moderator and workshop facilitator. She has led masterplanning, regeneration and PPP consultancy projects in London, Moscow, New York, Istanbul, Barcelona and many other global cities. Alex is a published author and editor of over 30 books and reports on real estate including the renowned ULI UK Best Practice Guide on Build to Rent (2014 and 2016). Her private consultancy client portfolio between 2011-2016 included Grosvenor, Grainger plc, M&A/listed market capital raisingmp;G Real Estate and the Greater London Authority.  She also served as UK Policy Director for the Urban Land Institute, of which she remains an active member, serving on the ULI UK Executive Committee and the ULI UK Residential Council.

 

Andrea Carpenter

Founder and Director

Women Talk Real Estate

Andrea is a Director of Women Talk Real Estate, and a writer and communications consultant in the property industry. She most recently worked as Head of Marketing and Communications EMEA at CBRE Global Investors where she oversaw the corporate and programme marketing, press, branding and internal communications in the region.

Andrea began her career as a journalist at Property Week before moving on to be editor of EuroProperty for seven years. Following this she worked for various industry bodies including the Urban Land Institute as well as spending three years as a director and interim CEO at INREV in Amsterdam, and one year at its sister organisation ANREV in Hong Kong. She is currently working as a consultant in the industry while working on a book about the history of the modern European property industry.

 

Barry Cullen

Tatiana Tezel

Director, Deputy Fund Manager BlackRock

London,  UK

Tatiana Tezel, Director, is Deputy Fund Manager for BlackRock’s Europe Property Fund IV. She is responsible for execution of the fund strategy, portfolio management, and performance of the Fund as well as reporting to investors.

Tatiana’s service with the firm dates back to 2008, including her years with MGPA, which was acquired by BlackRock in 2013. Before joining MGPA, she worked for LaSalle Investment Management in London, where she was involved in creating investment strategies across European funds. She has twelve years of real estate transactional experience across different European markets including the UK, Germany, Denmark and Poland as well as across different property types such as office, retail and student housing.

Ms. Tezel has an MSc in International Business from the University of Economics in Bratislava and an IPF Diploma in Investment Education from the University of Cambridge Institute of Continuing Education in London.
