It’s a popular blog topic to remind everyone that over the last several years the U.S. Census Bureau has consistently named Dallas-Fort Worth one of the fastest-growing areas in the country. As the local job and housing markets continue to surge, more and more people are continuing to relocate to the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
With the continued northern growth along the North Dallas Tollway, it is now easier than ever for people to find an area in the metroplex that best fits their lifestyle and also offers strong career opportunities. In addition to the lure of no state income tax and a centralized location, the quality of life that the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex offers is unique in and of itself. Employees who move to Dallas enjoy a less expensive housing market coupled with a strong job market with a wide range of employment opportunities in different industries. For an individual city that has appealed to both individuals and corporations, look no further than Plano, which was ranked as the 4th most desirable zip code in the country due in large part to the surge of corporate businesses moving to the area such as Liberty Mutual and Toyota, but also due to its strong school district and affordable housing.
When communicating with corporations on the benefits of relocating their business, it is important to remember that much of the time you are talking about families that are ingrained in their current community, not just a single person that will be picking up and moving. Helping corporations understand the strong family-friendly communities that make up the metroplex is key when relaying the message of why the area is a great fit for companies of all shapes and sizes.
In a nutshell, Dallas is the whole package. It is widely known for being the best place for corporations, and is beginning to get appreciated for the best quality of life that it offers. There is something for everybody here and once you arrive, you’ll feel right at home.
