Cushman & Wakefield’s Dan Harris, Managing Director in the firm’s Office Tenant Rep group, has been named to the Dallas Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2018. The awards program “celebrates up-and-comers the North Texas community should know—emerging executives and influencers to watch in the Dallas-Fort Worth business community and beyond.”
Harris is the only commercial real estate professional to be included in the 2018 class.
“I am so pleased that Dan is being recognized in the 40 Under 40 program,” said Ran Holman, Managing Principal of Cushman & Wakefield’s Dallas office. “He is emblematic of the rising stars within C&W. His smart/hard work and client-first mentality has earned him the respect of his peers.”
Harris has consistently been a part of some of the Dallas region’s largest and most impactful real estate transactions, including Altice USA’s corporate consolidation at Granite Park, Energy Transfer Partners’ move to a new headquarters in Preston Center, and a relocation for Sunoco LP, which moved its corporate headquarters from Philadelphia to The Shops at Park Lane along North Central Expressway. He also is actively involved in the community. For 10 years, he has served as a leader in the Dallas Intergroup Association, which helps incarcerated men as they prepare to re-enter society. Harris and his wife, Jenny, are co-presidents of the Genesis Women’s Shelter Young Leaders group, which raises hundreds of thousands of dollars for women and children in abusive situations.
The Dallas Business Journal will present its 40 Under 40 awards for 2018 on March 20 at Venue Forty50 in Addison.
