The North Texas chapter of CoreNet Global recently held its annual Black White & Blue event, where it presented the Dallas office of Cushman & Wakefield with its prestigious Service Provider of the Year award. The award recognizes excellence across the firm’s multiple service lines, including Global Occupier Services (GOS), Tenant Representation, and Project and Development Services (PDS).
Managing Principal Ran Holman and others from the Dallas office of Cushman & Wakefield were on hand to accept the award, as was Executive Vice President Christopher Larson, who oversees GOS in Texas and the Mountain states. “CoreNet Global’s Service Provider of the Year award is a reflection of Cushman & Wakefield’s pursuit of excellence,” Holman said. “Being acknowledged among our peers in this manner is a great honor. More significantly, it is indicative of our clients receiving exceptional service.”
“The Service Provider of the Year award is the highest form of endorsement from our customers; it is end-users stating who they like to work with—and who they trust.”
Nick Rossini, Executive Vice President, Global Occupier Services
CoreNet’s Workplace Strategy-Interiors and CRE Collaborative Excellence awards went to Atos SE for the company’s new office at Connection Park in Irving, designed by Gensler. Cushman & Wakefield’s Mike Wyatt, Rick Hughes, and Wills Bauer represented Atos SE in its lease, and Kyle Griffith oversaw project management. Griffith also led the interior finish out on a project for McAfee, which is represented by Nick Rossini and was a finalist in the CRE Collaborative Excellence category.
His work led Griffith, Vice President in Cushman & Wakefield’s PDS group, to be recognized as a finalist in the Young Leader award category. “Kyle is a dynamic leader on our team,” said Brad Blankenship, Executive Managing Director. “In his 10-year career, he has provided superior project management services for clients like Sidley Austin, Energy Transfer Equity, Varsity Brands, and Real Page, as well as Atos and McAfee.”
CoreNet Global represents nearly 10,000 executives in 50 countries with strategic responsibility for the real estate assets of large corporations. The organization’s North Texas chapter created the Black White & Blue Awards to honor excellence in commercial real estate. Other winners for 2018 include Toyota Motor North America and Corgan (Workplace Strategy-New Construction), Larry Good of GFF (Lifetime Achievement Award), and Brenda Hedrick of K2 Construction (President’s Award).
Rossini, Executive Vice President within Cushman & Wakefield’s GOS group, said recognition from CoreNet is especially meaningful. “The organization is comprised of and is designed to serve corporate real estate directors, especially those who oversee portfolios, versus a single building or two,” Rossini said. “The Service Provider of the Year award is the highest form of endorsement from our customers; it is end-users stating who they like to work with—and who they trust.”
