John Frank Jr. will forever be tied to Cushman & Wakefield and our legacy firms, but June 30 marks a transition day – he officially stopped coming into work every business day.
I kid you not – every day that he wasn’t traveling or out of the city for some reason, John Frank was in his office here. And he’s been doing that for a long time – some 33 years.
John won’t be without a home. He is welcome to come to our offices any day he wishes. His computer will still work, and he will continue to have a Cushman email. Even though we have gone to a completely open office concept – no one has an office – John has a big office! We renamed our largest conference room the John Frank Jr. Board Room in his honor.
John’s been a great friend and mentor to so many in the commercial real estate industry, and we will miss his every day appearances, humor and friendship.
But we at Cushman & Wakefield, along with all of our former names – DTZ, Cassidy Turley, Colliers Turley Martin Tucker, Ostendorf-Morris Colliers, Realteam, among them – will forever and proudly be associated with John Frank Jr.
