Property Manager Brian Hill of the Cushman & Wakefield’s Charlotte office has been named one of the Institute of Real Estate Management’s (IREM) 30 Under 30. IREM selected candidates who have demonstrated creativity, innovation, and leadership in their careers. This year’s list includes professionals from 30 different companies in 15 states and three countries who are making a difference in the commercial real estate industry and in their communities. According to IREM, the diverse group is leading the way for others by opening new doors and exploring new opportunities.
Brian manages a 1 million-square-foot diverse portfolio of Class A CBD office, suburban office and industrial properties on behalf of key institutional clients. He expertly drives financial and operational efficiencies according to the client’s investment strategy, and his strong command of accounting and management best practices align to deliver a bespoke property management plan. Brian leads, engages, and mentors seven direct reports to achieve organizational goals while championing personal and professional development. In 2018, he was named Cushman & Wakefield Charlotte’s Asset Services Employee of the Year.
“It is a sincere honor to be recognized alongside such a talented, dynamic group of professionals,” Hill said. “I love our industry because of the direct impact our work has on the way we live, work, and play in our communities and this award is validation that somewhere along the way, we’ve managed to make a difference.”
Additionally, Brian serves as Chair of Cushman & Wakefield Charlotte’s Future Leaders program, managing the operational budget effectively to deliver quality professional development, networking, and service-based programming. He co-leads IREM’s local Industry Partners Committee and is a member of the organization’s national Legislative and Public Policy Committee. Brian is also a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and is the local chair for the Emerging Professionals sub-committee.
Recipients will be recognized at the 2019 IREM Global Summit, taking place Sept. 23-26 in San Francisco, Calif. Congratulations Brian – we are so proud to call you part of our team!
