An Analysis: 2015 Downtown Boston Leasing Trends

You may know that the Seaport, once dubbed the “Innovation District,” is now a top  destination for traditional tenants – like General Electric. And you may have heard that the Financial District, now favored by growing technology firms, is in peril of losing its moniker.

But did you know that class A space in the Financial District was leased in equal measure by publishing, financial, legal and technology firms? Or that sales activity and demand for affordable options (such as class B) has caused rents in some markets to jump 30%?
