Cushman & Wakefield has partnered with Yardi, the largest tenant at Mansell Overlook, to create a series of special sustainability-focused educational events in partnership with local organizations in honor of Earth Week.
Yesterday, Metro Atlanta dealers for Tesla, Porsche, Land Rover, Jaguar, Nissan and BMW had representatives on site to showcase sustainable vehicle features at the property’s electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. Later this week, Georgia Power’s Electronic Vehicle Program will lead a course on EV car chargers and rebates available to businesses and consumers, and Georgia Power will also offer a tutorial on residential energy efficiency, including tips to help homeowners lower their electric bills. To close out the week, the Fulton County Water Department will present on water conservation, including tips for how to decrease residential water bills.
In addition, Yardi client Rubicon Global, along with Cushman & Wakefield, will lead a commercial recycling and waste management session including an interdepartmental competition to recycle the most trash and several other interactive activities. The firm will conduct a trash audit, collecting 24 hours worth of trash from Yardi, which will then be sorted into recyclables vs. trash and displayed for employees to view and learn more about recycling.
Cushman & Wakefield leases and manages Mansell Overlook, which is LEED Gold certified.
