As a formal kick-off to 2019, the Women’s Integrated Network (WIN) in Atlanta hosted a celebratory dinner at Bhojanic Buckhead, a local favorite and woman-owned restaurant. The event was inspired by former Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors CEO Kristin Lamb, in coordination with Bhojanic’s owner and chef, Achna Malhotra Becker.
About 30 WIN Atlanta members gathered to enjoy a generous sampling of Bhojanic’s most popular and fantastic dishes, including chole tikki (potato tots with toppings), chicken tikka masala poutine, new deli nachos, and Bhojanic shrimp. All were a hit!
Following brief introductions by John O’Neill, President, Southeast & Southcentral Region, WIN members new and old each shared a little about their work and personal life, inspiring some new connections and future friendships. Topics discussed included best practices at work, gender diversity in commercial real estate and how to recruit more women to the industry. The event is one of WIN Atlanta’s most highly attended off-site events in recent years — a proper kick-off to an exciting new year and chapter committee.
WIN Atlanta has several other events planned for the year, including the ongoing book club, guest speakers, sports outings, and industry workshops.
