For the past two years, Cushman & Wakefield has held a Chili Cook-Off to raise money for Cushman Cares, which helps support our company’s philanthropic efforts. Last week, 14 chefs brought in their own homemade chili recipes, including everything from Choco Chili to White Bean Chicken Chili to Taco Chili, and employees voted for their favorites.
For two years running, the champion was Chawnn Redden with her “Just a Little Spicy Beef ‘N Short Rib Chili.” Second place went to Angela Graham for her “Surfs Up Spicy Chili” and Bailey Webb took third place for his “Champion Colorado Pork Green Chili.” It was an incredibly close race with each winner being separated by only one vote!
In total, this year’s Chili Cook-Off raised $230 for the Mary Hall Freedom House, a nonprofit organization and national leader in gender-specific treatment, recovery, housing and support services to help women and women with children break the cycle of poverty, homelessness, mental health disorders, and addiction.
