In honor of Earth Day last Sunday, several of the properties Cushman & Wakefield manages in Atlanta held special tenant events.
At the UPS Service Center, the Cushman & Wakefield team conducted an annual spring planting for eight raised garden beds. They added four additional beds to the existing four herb gardens planted in 2015. The property coincides the spring planting with Earth Day as an important reminder of environmental awareness. At 171 17th Street, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta corporate office, ABM Janitorial Services, 4 Seasons Landscape Group and ASAP+ Mobility were on-site last week to discuss green practices routinely performed at the building, as well as practices that tenants can adopt both at the office and at home.
Other properties held events that offered a chance for tenants to rid their homes of clutter, like Riveredge Summit, which offered electronic recycling, and West Court Square, which featured free shredding of unwanted documents. Additionally, the 271 17th Street team created an Earth Day mural and invited tenants to help add color to it. Thank you to all tenants who participated in these events and helped make the world a better place!
