The Atlanta Business Chronicle has named Matt Jarratt, Director in Cushman & Wakefield’s Industrial Services Group, as a commercial real estate “Up & Comer.” Matt has played a significant role in multi-state site selection efforts to expand corporate client’s distribution and assembly capabilities. He has also optimized space and location parameters for his clients’ strategic growth plans, and created actionable development and sale strategies for industrial land owners. Last year, he received Cushman & Wakefield’s Rising Star of the Year award.
Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield in 2014, Mr. Jarratt was a Captain and Company Commander with the United States Marine Corps. There, he gave direct oversight for the welfare, training and assignments of 350 Marines and managed $3 million in government property. He also served as an Executive Officer, Platoon Commander, and Intelligence Officer before leaving active duty to join the business and commercial real estate community.
Matt told the Atlanta Business Chronicle that one of his proudest accomplishments is when his team “finds savings the client didn’t expect.” He added, “It’s also deeply satisfying to come across a hazard to a client’s transaction that we effectively neutralize through a good risk-mitigation plan – that tells me that making the extra effort to plan for potential hazards to a client’s project pays off.”
Congratulations Matt, we are so proud to have you!
