Giving & Growing

By Savannah Durban, Communications Specialist

The Women’s Integrated Network (WIN) at Cushman & Wakefield has recently launched some exciting programs to grow community involvement, membership and attract new talent. WIN was created to accelerate the advancement of women working at Cushman & Wakefield by sharing information, best practices, education and experience to help one another develop leadership skills and career advancing opportunities.

In July and August, the group ran its Summer of Giving campaign, focused on donating time, talent and funds to support Girl Scouts of the USA and the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts through a series of initiatives. At Cushman & Wakefield, we believe in a culture of service that extends to the communities in which we live and work. As WIN members, we are committed to not only advancing our own women at Cushman & Wakefield but serving and empowering women in our communities.

In Atlanta, the program has supported local charities such as Walk in Her Shoes and Dress for Success, and has hosted speakers on everything from wealth management to work-life balance. Additionally, networking opportunities such as a recent wine tasting have allowed us to get to know more about the women in the company and bond over shared experiences.

Cushman & Wakefield values the different viewpoints and ways of thinking that women bring to the workplace. Recently, the company accelerated recruitment efforts by partnering with Glassdoor to drive female candidate traffic to our Cushman & Wakefield careers site. We are also piloting a free trial with SelectLeaders, a leading real estate job site that powers online career centers for 12 top industry associations, including CREW Network.

WIN is a powerhouse component of Cushman & Wakefield’s Diversity & Inclusion initiative. One of our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), WIN has 2,000+ members across the Americas pursuing opportunities to advance our careers and give back to our communities. In addition, WIN’s recruitment program helps our company attract female talent, as we look to hire more people with diverse viewpoints and experiences to help us transform the industry.  For more information on the program, visit CushWakeWIN.com.
