Cushman & Wakefield’s Fourth Annual Battle of the Bands benefiting Southeastern Guide Dogs (SEGD) is set for Thursday, August 24, at Terminal West inside of Atlanta’s King Plow Arts Center. Ivy Road Band, Radio Birds and Josh Roberts and the Hinges will take the stage to battle it out for the honor of being named this year’s top band and have the opportunity to open at Terminal West.
SEGD is an award-winning, internationally accredited guide dog school headquartered in Florida. Donations support the organization’s needs such as food, vet bills and more. Since its inception more than 30 years ago, the nonprofit organization has created more than 2,800 guide dog teams. They breed, raise and train extraordinary guide dogs before pairing them with visually impaired adults. Owners-to-be live on their beautiful 35-acre campus for 26 days, learning how to travel safely and independently with their new loving companion. Last year, Cushman & Wakefield raised over $28,000 for the charity.
Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door, and include access to the event, two drink tickets, and an assortment of food. A silent auction will be held as well with all proceeds going to SEGD.
