Atlanta’s employment update for the second quarter indicates continued growth for the city in the coming months. Year-over-year (YoY), the city has added 48,000 jobs, bringing the unemployment rate to 4% in the second quarter. Non-farm employment growth YoY for the city is 1.8%, compared with 1.7% for the U.S. as a whole, and Atlanta is the No. 3 city for YoY job growth behind Houston (3.3%) and Dallas (3.1%).
