Cushman & Wakefield has welcomed Amy Gerber as Executive Managing Director of the firm’s Business Incentives Consulting team.
Gerber is focused on generating tax and operational savings for various types of projects through her strong relationships, tax and financial knowledge and negotiation skills. She works with economic development teams across the county on behalf of her clients to mitigate project-related risks through the negotiation of both financial and non-financial incentives to reduce both upfront and ongoing costs.
“Amy’s unparalleled industry knowledge and strong relationships nationwide enable her to secure the best possible incentives on behalf of her clients,” said John O’Neill, Managing Principal of Cushman & Wakefield’s Atlanta office. “With more than a decade of experience in state and local incentives negotiation, she will be a tremendous asset to our Business Incentives Consulting team, which is an integral part of our platform.”
Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Gerber was Managing Director in the Business and Economic Incentives practice at Jones Lang LaSalle. She has led and managed numerous multi-state incentive negotiation engagements for both office and industrial projects for her clients. Previously, she was a member of The Staubach Company and KPMG, LLP with the State and Local Tax Practice/Strategic Relocation and Expansion Services Division.
“I am excited to join Cushman & Wakefield to support its growing need to provide best-in-class incentives negotiation services to clients as they grow and relocate across the country,” Gerber said.
