On March 30, more than 150 members of Cushman & Wakefield’s Atlanta office came together to volunteer at Mary Hall Freedom House, a nonprofit organization and national leader in gender-specific treatment, recovery, housing and support services to help women and women with children break the cycle of poverty, homelessness, mental health disorders, and addiction.
Our groups assisted with many different tasks, including painting, cleaning and refreshing the interior of the building, assisting with moving, setting up new playground equipment, spreading new mulch and creating a giant mural spanning three walls on the exterior of their building. Another group also spent time with some of the women the organization works with, creating arts and crafts for them to decorate their homes.
We had several incredible sponsors that made the day possible by donating money and services, including Flood Brothers, Humphries & Co., Rosing Painting, BCJ, King of Swings, Gibbs Landscape Co., Willy’s Mexicana Grill, Steelcase and Broadway Lights. We are looking forward to next year’s Great Day of Service and continuing to support Mary Hall Freedom House throughout the year!
