Built in 2009, it is the newest office tower constructed at Atlantic Station. Amenities include branch banking, concierge and conference facilities.
The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY®) Awards recognize quality in commercial buildings and reward excellence in building management. During the competition, all facets of a building’s operations are thoroughly evaluated. Buildings are judged on everything from community involvement, tenant relations and site management to environmental and “green” policies and procedures. The building has achieved BOMA 360, LEED Gold, and WiredScore Gold certifications.
In recent years, the building has been retrofitted with exterior lighting to color enabled LED in order to highlight holidays, social causes and more. Additionally, a partnership was formed with Bractlet to evaluate the efficiency of building systems and make capital recommendations to reduce energy consumption and increase efficiency. Finally, the building will implement Kimberly-Clark Onvation products for restrooms in the second quarter, which will assist in elevating service and reducing waste.
Congratulations to the 271 17th Street team and good luck at the regional ceremony on March 30!
