By Janice O’Neill, Global Head of Talent Management & Diversity at Cushman & Wakefield
The Women’s Integrated Network (WIN) at Cushman & Wakefield has recently launched some exciting programs to grow community involvement, membership and attract new talent. WIN was created to accelerate the advancement of women working at Cushman & Wakefield by sharing information, best practices, education and experience to help one another develop leadership skills and career advancing opportunities.
In July and August, the group is running its Summer of Giving campaign, focused on donating time, talent and funds to support Girl Scouts of the USA and the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts through a series of initiatives. At Cushman & Wakefield, we believe in a culture of service that extends to the communities in which we live and work. As WIN members, we are committed to not only advancing our own women at Cushman & Wakefield but serving and empowering women in our communities.
Additionally, the company has accelerated recruitment efforts by partnering with Glassdoor and LinkedIn to drive female candidate traffic to our Cushman & Wakefield careers site, as well as a social media campaign with key company partners. We are also piloting a free trial with SelectLeaders, a leading real estate job site that powers online career centers for 12 top industry associations, including CREW Network.
WIN is a powerhouse component of Cushman & Wakefield’s Diversity & Inclusion initiative. One of our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), WIN has 2,000+ members across the Americas pursuing opportunities to advance our careers and give back to our communities. In addition, WIN’s recruitment program helps our company attract female talent, as we look to hire more people with diverse viewpoints and experiences to help us transform the industry.
During the next couple of weeks, we will be highlighting WIN and its initiatives, featuring topics affecting women in the commercial real estate industry and highlighting female leaders within Cushman & Wakefield.
