8200 Tower in Bloomington, MN and 6100-6303 Waterford in Miami, FL, both Cushman & Wakefield managed properties, received international TOBY® Awards from the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) Awards is the most prestigious and comprehensive program of its kind in the commercial real estate industry, recognizing quality in commercial buildings and rewarding excellence in building management. Buildings are judged on all facets of operations, from community involvement to tenant relations, site management, and environmental and green policies and procedures.

8200 Tower is the newest building at Normandale Lake Office Park, the Twin Cities’ premier suburban business park. Constructed in 2009, the 275,000-square-foot office building is 97% occupied and has distinguished features including a two-story atrium and reflective blue glass. The building was awarded LEED Gold certification and has an ENERGY STAR® rating of 99 due to its superior operating efficiency. Superior tenant and vendor relationships are key to the 8200 Tower management team’s success in delivering exceptional service to ownership.

“8200 Tower’s win at the International TOBY awards is a tremendous honor for our team and a testament to the outstanding value our professionals are providing to the ownership team at Normandale Lake Office Park,” said Terri-lynn Mitchell, City Lead for Asset Services in Minneapolis.

The management team includes Pat Seng, General Manager; Jim Gefre, Property Manager; Renee Hoy, Assistant Manager; Patrick Corcoran, Lead Engineer; Shawn Bender, Building Engineer; Lisa Simonson, Property Administrator; and Tjody Jacobsen, Property Administrator.

Located within the distinguished Waterford at Blue Lagoon office park, 6100-6303 Waterford are award-winning Class A office buildings that offer many amenities including a café, fitness center, complimentary yoga sessions, interior and exterior seating, daycare, easy highway access, and free parking. Both assets have earned the LEED Silver designation and have won previous TOBY Awards. Passion, strong team collaboration, and a dedicated work ethic distinguish the management of 6100-6303 Waterford from other properties.

“Winning an International TOBY award is a true testament to Cushman & Wakefield’s commitment to driving value at our managed properties,” said Tim Rivers, City Lead for Asset Services in Florida. “This prestigious honor signifies the 6100-6303 Waterford management team is the best-of-the-best, and I am so appreciative of their passion and professionalism.”

The management team includes Danny Wong, Property Manager; Yaclyn Hernandez, Assistant Property Manager; Maria Mayer, Property Analyst; Kathleen Ojeda, Property Administrator; Segundo Henriquez, Operating Engineer; and Carlos Padilla, Operating Engineer.
