Connect Media_Women in Real Estate

The world of commercial real estate can be extremely competitive but also very rewarding. Every year, Connect Media hosts its annual Women in Real Estate Awards where they select 50 of the most influential women in the industry who have exemplified remarkable talent, drive, leadership and new ideas. This year, three of Cushman & Wakefield’s female leaders were included on the list: Marla Maloney, Sandra Boyle and Vicki Noonan.

Marla Maloney
President, Asset Services, Americas

Connect Media Women_Marla MaloneyMarla is an impactful leader with a proven track record of growing the Asset Services business and leading her teams to excellence. With her expertise in property management and overall leadership, Marla has been a key driver of M&A activity, adding many talented professionals to the firm and creating a cohesive culture centered around client satisfaction. From 2014-2017, the Asset Services platform’s total managed square footage grew 75%, with more than 100 million square feet added in 2017 alone.

How is she so successful you ask? Marla believes in passing down her “CEO of the property” mentality to her teams, instilling in them a sense of ownership. This ensures client satisfaction and tenant retention, which in turn creates a winning strategy for Cushman & Wakefield’s Asset Services platform.
